February 17, 2009 - WIS News
Dawndy Mercer Plank with WIS-TV videotaped me reading to a wonderful group of 1st graders today. She was interested in why we decided to write these books and how we are integrating reading, writing and social studies throughout the book process. The 1st graders enjoyed hearing about Bellman and discovering that he lives in South Carolina just like they do!Watch for our clip on the six o'clock news, Thursday February 19th!
