I recently came across this quote from Mark Twain. He eloquently explains one of the reasons that Mom and I write the Bellman Bear Books; we want to introduce children to experiences and cultures other than their own. Many children will
never have the opportunity to travel to the places that Bellman visits, but they
can experience his trips vicariously and learn many things from them.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry,
and narrow-mindedness."
- Mark Twain, Innocents AbroadJust something to think about....Have a great day!
